Basketball Game Preview: Tri-West Hendricks Bruins vs. Monrovia Bulldogs

The Tri-West Hendricks Bruins will head out to face off against the Monrovia Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Monrovia took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Tri-West Hendricks, who comes in off a win.

On Saturday, Tri-West Hendricks earned a 57-50 win over Martinsville. Given the Bruins' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 99th, while the Artesians are ranked 255th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Monrovia lost to Greencastle at home by a 64-49 margin on Thursday.

Tri-West Hendricks is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points over those games. As for Monrovia, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.

Everything went Tri-West Hendricks' way against Monrovia when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as Tri-West Hendricks made off with a 68-48 victory. Will Tri-West Hendricks repeat their success, or does Monrovia have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
