Volleyball Game Preview: Sumner-Fredericksburg Cougars vs. Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons

After both having extra time off, the Sumner-Fredericksburg Cougars and the Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another on Tuesday. Sumner-Fredericksburg will be strutting in after a victory while Aplington-Parkersburg will be coming in after a loss.

Sumner-Fredericksburg hadn't beaten Denver on the road since September 23, 2023 but that history sure didn't bother them last Saturday. The Cougars came out on top against the Cyclones by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Meanwhile, Aplington-Parkersburg suffered their biggest defeat since September 9th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Dike-New Hartford. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Sumner-Fredericksburg's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Aplington-Parkersburg, their loss dropped their record down to 18-7.
