Football Recap: Community School of Davidson Falls to North Stanly in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Community School of Davidson had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 27-21 to the North Stanly Comets on Friday. The matchup was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but the Spartans couldn't quite close it out.

Ty Sigler threw for 183 yards and one touchdown. Tyler Johnson was his top target, picking up 120 receiving yards and one TD.

Community School of Davidson will face off against South Mecklenburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Stanly, they will take on West Stanly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
