Football Recap: Community School of Davidson Starts Season with Defeat on the Road + How To Watch

Community School of Davidson had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 27-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Stanly Comets. The matchup was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but the Spartans couldn't quite close it out.

Ty Sigler threw for 183 yards and one TD. Tyler Johnson was his top target, picking up 120 receiving yards and one touchdown.

North Stanly got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaden Little out in front who rushed for 67 yards and a pair of scores. What's more, Little posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Lowder, who threw for 120 yards and one touchdown.

Coming up, Community School of Davidson will be playing at home against South Mecklenburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Stanly, they will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge West Stanly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
