Basketball Recap: Petersburg Takes a Loss

Petersburg lost against Pendleton County back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Petersburg Vikings were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 59-58 to the Pendleton County Wildcat. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Petersburg's record is now 4-4. As for Pendleton County, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.

Petersburg is taking a road trip to square off against Keyser at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Petersburg is facing Keyser at the right time seeing as Keyser is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Pendleton County has already played their next contest (against Pocahontas County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
