 El Camino can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a  win as the  squad sidled past the Del Campo Cougars  3-2. This was a revenge  match for El Camino, as the team was forced to settle for  an  11-3 defeat when these two played  last Monday.
  Jackson (JT) Burow made a big impact no matter where he played. He  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out 12 over six innings pitched. Burow was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with a  stolen base and a  double.
 In other batting news,  Max Powers was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-4.
 On Del Campo's side,  Mitchell Clements spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three  runs (all of which were unearned)  on six hits.
 On the hitting side, Del Campo saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Cooper Dyke, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 El Camino now  has a winning record of 14-13. As for Del Campo, they now  have a losing record at 13-14.
 El Camino will have a chance to go back-to-back against Del Campo: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday.
