Baseball Recap: Bonita Springs Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Bonita Springs and Jesuit squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Bonita Springs had to settle for second. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 10-0. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Bullsharks, who until this contest were averaging 4.07 runs allowed.

This is the second loss in a row for Bonita Springs and nudges their season record down to 16-12. As for Jesuit, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 20-8.

While Bonita Springs had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
