Staley and Liberty North are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2015, but not for long. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Falcons challenge the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Staley will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.

Staley is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Missouri's top teams: Lee's Summit North, who was ranked 13th at the time (Staley was ranked tenth). Staley snuck past Lee's Summit North with a 55-49 victory on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Liberty North had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 64-62 win over the Panthers.

Staley's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.1 points over those games. As for Liberty North, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Staley strolled past Liberty North in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 65-50. The rematch might be a little tougher for Staley since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
