Mattanawcook put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Houlton Shiretowners. The Lynx have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Shiretowners, too.

Owen Harper was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. James Trott was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Mattanawcook pushed their record up to 11-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Houlton, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Mattanawcook has already played their next contest, an 11-1 victory against Calais on the 27th. Hopefully Houlton paid attention to the Lynx's matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Lynx at 7:00 p.m. on June 4.
