While Peoria didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against the Shadow Mountain Matadors on Thursday as the Peoria Panthers made off with a 3-0 win. Considering the Panthers have won four matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Shadow Mountain with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Shamel Sanchez, Daniel Martinez Gonzalez, and Miguel Bojorquez.

Peoria's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Shadow Mountain, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Safford the next time they take the pitch. Shadow Mountain will head out to face Safford at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, while Peoria will head out to face them at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
