Basketball Recap: Pellston Takes a Loss

Pellston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Mancelona Ironmen and fell 69-32. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 82-54 back in January.

Pellston's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Mancelona, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pellston will take on Alanson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mancelona, they are taking a road trip to face off against Onaway at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
