Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Dyersburg's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

Dyersburg had won two straight home games and Chelby Jordan did her part to make it three on Tuesday. The Dyersburg Trojans blew past the Crockett County Cavaliers, posting a 49-22 win thanks in part to Jordan, who went 8 for 12 en route to 18 points and eight rebounds. The matchup was her fifth in a row with at least ten points.

Dyersburg has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.8 points. As for Crockett County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-6.

Dyersburg and Crockett County should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings. Dyersburg will challenge Dyer County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday up 129 places (18 vs. 147). Dyersburg is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.8 points per game this season. Similarly, Crockett County (ranked 66th) will meet Obion County (ranked 207th) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
