Coastal Christian has gone 8-2 against Valley Christian Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Conquerors will head out on the road to challenge the Lions at 3:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Coastal Christian let Bishop Diego stack five runs on them in the fourth inning on Thursday but luckily Coastal Christian prevailed anyway. The Conquerors walked away with a 9-6 victory over the Cardinals. The win continues a trend for the Conquerors in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Valley Christian Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They beat the Broncos by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 21-6. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by 15 runs or more this season.

Coastal Christian's record now sits at 7-2. As for Valley Christian Academy, their record is now 4-6.

Coastal Christian took their victory against Valley Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in April by a conclusive 23-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Conquerors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
