Pine Creek had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Mullen on Tuesday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Mustangs. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 4-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Aiden Wilson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.
