Volleyball Recap: Chloe Guyan Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Hammond

Palmetto Christian Academy won the last time they faced Hammond and things went their way on Thursday too. Palmetto Christian Academy put the hurt on Hammond with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Palmetto Christian Academy.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Palmetto Christian Academy took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-10, 25-12.

Palmetto Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chloe Guyan, who had seven digs and three aces. That's the most aces Guyan has posted since back in August of 2024.

Palmetto Christian Academy's record now sits at 2-0.

Coming up, Palmetto Christian Academy will host Charleston Collegiate at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hammond, they will head out on the road to challenge Spring Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
