West Branch is a perfect 10-0 against Moshannon Valley since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Warriors will be playing at home against the Black Knights/Damsels at 4:30 p.m. West Branch is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.

On Wednesday, West Branch came up short against Juniata Valley and fell 6-2.

Layla Thompson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Moshannon Valley couldn't beat Glendale on Tuesday even though they stacked five runs on them in the seventh inning. The Black Knights/Damsels came up short against the Vikings, falling 13-6. The loss continues a trend for the Black Knights/Damsels in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost seven in a row.

Moshannon Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madison McCoy, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. Another was Brinley Kephart, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

West Branch's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 13-4. As for Moshannon Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Thursday. West Branch hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.5 home runs per game. However, it's not like Moshannon Valley struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.4 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.

West Branch took their win against Moshannon Valley in their previous matchup back in April by a conclusive 7-0 score. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Black Knights/Damsels have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
