Soccer Recap: Ariton Comes Up Short

Ariton fell victim to Carroll and their airtight defense on Saturday. They lost 9-0 to the Carroll Eagles. The loss continues a trend for the Purple Cats in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Ariton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Carroll, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ariton will welcome Highland Home at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Carroll, they will host New Brockton at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
