After only six points in their last matchup, Dover made sure to put some points up on the board against Burke Catholic on Saturday. The Dragons strolled past Burke Catholic with points to spare, taking the game 45-26. The Dragons' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Dover's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Conor Drnek led the charge by rushing for 146 yards and a pair of TDs on only 15 carries, while also throwing for 150 yards and one touchdown while completing 75% of his passes. Drnek also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making ten total tackles and defending two passes. Matt Ogana was another key back, gaining 170 total yards and two touchdowns.

Dover didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Burke Catholic to a completion percentage of just 39%. The team can thank Drnek for the heroic effort on defense: he. Dover has been improving in that area: they had allowed a completion percentage of 0.65 earlier this season, but they've only allowed one of 0.65 in their last three games.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-2. As for Burke Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Dover wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 32-0 win against O'Neill on the 17th. As for Burke Catholic, they have also already played their next contest, a 33-14 victory against Spackenkill on the 18th.
