Robinson waltzed into their game on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the West Potomac Wolverines. Given Robinson's advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 45th, while West Potomac are ranked 254th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Robinson's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for West Potomac, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Robinson is set to challenge their familiar foe Fairfax at 7:15 p.m. on May 2. Meanwhile, West Potomac will take on rival Lake Braddock at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
