Baseball Recap: Prentiss Christian Takes a Loss

Prentiss Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 19-9 to the Adams County Christian Rebels. While the Saints didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Rebels 6-2 in the first period.

Prentiss Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Adams County Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-8.

Coming up, Prentiss Christian will welcome Hattiesburg HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Adams County Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Amite School Center at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Adams County Christian's pitchers better be ready for this one: Amite School Center has averaged an impressive 6.1 runs per game this season.
