Softball Recap: Marshall Starts off Right with Win over Reseda

Marshall had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on the Reseda Regents with a sharp 17-6 win on Thursday.

Elaine Reynoso was a standout: she scored two runs while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Samantha Nunez was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-4.

With the defeat, Reseda broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Marshall will challenge Arleta at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Reseda, they will host Sylmar at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
