Basketball Recap: Adams Central Comes Up Short

Adams Central was the 57-52 winner over Gothenburg when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Adams Central Patriots took a hard 49-31 fall against the Gothenburg Swedes on Thursday.

Adams Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Gothenburg, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Adams Central will venture away from home to take on St. Paul at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gothenburg, they will head out on the road to square off against Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Gothenburg's defense has only allowed 30 points per game this season, so Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood]'s offense will have their work cut out for them.
