Basketball Recap: Bridgewater/Emery Comes Up Short

Bridgewater/Emery was the 54-49 winner over Colman-Egan when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bridgewater/Emery Huskies fell to the Colman-Egan C-E Hawks 58-54. That's two games in a row now that the Huskies have lost by exactly four points.

This is the second loss in a row for Bridgewater/Emery and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Colman-Egan, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bridgewater/Emery won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Ethan at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Colman-Egan, they will challenge Garretson at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Colman-Egan knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Garretson likes a good challenge.
