Basketball Game Preview: Neodesha Blue Streaks vs. West Elk Patriots

Neodesha is 0-5 against West Elk since December of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Neodesha Blue Streaks will be playing at home against the West Elk Patriots at 7:00 p.m.

Last Thursday, Neodesha took a blow against Olpe, falling 77-39.

Meanwhile, West Elk didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Crest on Friday, but they still walked away with a 46-41 victory.

Neodesha better keep an eye on Maddex Moreno. He was instrumental in West Elk's win, almost dropping a double-double on 21 points and nine boards. Garett Usry was another key player, putting up seven points and five assists.

Neodesha's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for West Elk, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Things could have been worse for Neodesha, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 56-40 loss to West Elk in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Moreno, who almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds. Now that Neodesha knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
