Basketball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Oak Park Northmen. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 230th, while the Northmen are ranked 16th).

Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Oak Park, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Central will challenge North Kansas City at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Oak Park, they will take on Park Hill South at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
