Softball Recap: Brentwood Academy Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

While Brentwood Academy didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-13-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Father Ryan Irish by a score of 5-2 on Thursday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Brentwood Academy's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Father Ryan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
