Basketball Recap: Bixby Comes Up Short

Bixby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost to the Putnam City West Patriots at home by a 76-57 margin. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 84-48 back in December of 2024.

Bixby's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Putnam City West, their victory bumped their record up to 8-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bixby will host Coweta at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bixby is facing Coweta at the right time seeing as Coweta is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Putnam City West, they will welcome Owasso at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
