Basketball Game Preview: Toppenish Wildcats vs. Ephrata Tigers

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Toppenish Wildcats challenge the Ephrata Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday... Ephrata took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Toppenish, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Toppenish turned things around against Quincy on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Jackrabbits 64-15. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 32 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Ephrata was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 50-23 loss at the hands of East Valley.

Ephrata's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Toppenish, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Toppenish beat Ephrata 67-55 when the teams last played back in January of 2020. Will Toppenish repeat their success, or does Ephrata have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
