San Ysidro had won two straight road games and Vida Sanchez did her part to make it three on Thursday. The Cougars took their game with ease, bagging a 33-0 victory over the Montgomery Aztecs for which the team can thank Sanchez, who threw for 309 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81.2% of her passes, and also rushed for 87 yards and a pair of scores on only 12 carries. She has been hot, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last five times she's played.

San Ysidro's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Valentina Melendrez, Andrea Hernandez, and Abril Triana, who each picked up one sack apiece.

San Ysidro's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Montgomery, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

San Ysidro didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 28-14 loss against Bonita Vista on the 18th. As for Montgomery, they will head out on the road to take on Southwest SD at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
