Basketball Recap: Havelock Comes Up Short

Havelock lost against D.H. Conley back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The match between the Havelock Rams and the D.H. Conley Vikings didn't end well, with the Havelock Rams falling 39-25. The game marked the Rams' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Havelock still got an impressive performance from Lanai Brantley, who posted nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaitlynn Howell, who had two points and six rebounds.

Havelock has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for D.H. Conley, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Havelock didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-24 loss against Jacksonville on the 7th. As for D.H. Conley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 62-39 victory against J.H. Rose on the 7th.
