Softball Recap: Liverpool Comes Up Short

If Liverpool was riding high fresh off their 10-3 takedown of Fayetteville-Manlius last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Baldwinsville Bees on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bees this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-3 back in April.

Liverpool has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Baldwinsville, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-9.

Liverpool does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Baldwinsville, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Cicero-North Syracuse on the 29th.
