Volleyball Recap: Lafayette Comes Up Short

Lafayette lost against Benton last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Fighting Irish took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals. The Fighting Irish have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-16, 21-25, 25-17.

Lafayette's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12-2. As for Benton, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-5-3.

Lafayette does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Benton, they will face off against Park Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
