Basketball Recap: Highland Hall Comes Up Short

Highland Hall lost against Ojai Valley back in February of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Highland Hall Hawks lost 78-55 to the Ojai Valley Spuds.

Ojai Valley's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Joey Edelson, who posted 28 points. Edelson's morning made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Edward Ying, who earned 18 points.

The victory (which was Ojai Valley's third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

The future could be bright for both Highland Hall and Ojai Valley: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Highland Hall will try to hand Westmark their fourth-straight defeat when the two meet at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Ojai Valley will try to hand Summit View their third-straight loss when the two meet on Thursday.
