Softball Recap: Eminence Eels vs. Christel House Eagles

Eminence put the finishing touches on their 11th blowout victory of the season on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Christel House Eagles as the Eminence Eels made off with a 13-1 victory. The win was nothing new for Eminence as they're now sitting on four straight.

Sophia Saucerman made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Saucerman has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive pitching appearances. Saucerman was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Bella Dittemore was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. Marriah Hamblen was another key contributor, going 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI.

On Christel House's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Odalis Valerio, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
