Memphis East had lost nine games straight , but after bumping their record up to 2-10 on Wednesday that streak is in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out the Craigmont Chiefs 8-7. For the Mustangs, this counts as revenge for the 16-0 win the Chiefs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2015.

Noah Cook was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with five stolen bases and two runs. Those runs were his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Niclolas Malone, who earned one RBI, one run, and one stolen base.
