Football Game Recap: Yellville-Summit vs. Harding Academy

Harding Academy took the matchup and then some with a 56-20 win on Friday over Yellville-Summit. The success represented a nice turnaround for Harding Academy, who in their last game suffered a tough 27-49 defeat.

Harding Academy's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 35 first-half points. Yellville-Summit wasn't quite able to keep up, scoring 14 to make it 35-14 heading into the break. Harding Academy put the match away in the third quarter with 21 points from the offense and zero points allowed from the defense. The victory bumped their record up to 3-2. The loss dropped Yellville-Summit's record to 1-4.

Harding Academy will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Mountain View. Mountain View also lit up the scoreboard in their last game, so this could be a high-scoring game. As for Yellville-Summit, they will face off against Rector.
