Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chaparral). Everything went their way against the Mountain Pointe Pride on Tuesday as the Chaparral Firebirds made off with a 15-0 victory. It was an even better day for Aubrey Folger as she scored three goals for her team.

The win was the fourth in a row for Chaparral, bringing their record for this year to 13-1-2. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matches. As for Mountain Pointe, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chaparral will square off against Horizon at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mountain Pointe, they will face off against Horizon Honors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Horizon Honors is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.7 goals per game this season.
