Basketball Recap: Robeson Business Tech Comes Up Short

Robeson Business Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a hard 57-42 fall against the Westinghouse Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 674th, while the Warriors are ranked 218th).

Robeson Business Tech's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Westinghouse, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Robeson Business Tech is taking a road trip to take on Achievement First at 2:00 p.m. on January 25th. Achievement First knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Robeson Business Tech likes a good challenge. Westinghouse has already played their next contest, a 52-49 win against Midwood on the 18th.
