Football Recap: Keyonte Cobb Leads Amite County's Defense on Friday

Enterprise came into Friday's game looking for another win against Amite County, but Kevin Bailey wouldn't allow it. The Trojans took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 46-6 win over the Yellowjackets for which the team can thank Bailey, who rushed for 91 yards and a pair of TDs. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 74 yards.

Amite County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Keyonte Cobb, Kyran Magee, and Kenarius Thompson picked up one apiece. Magee got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Amite County pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35.5 points. As for Enterprise, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

That contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Bailey and Jordyn Kees. Meanwhile, Enterprise is set to take on their familiar foe Wilkinson County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
