Baseball Game Preview: James River Knights vs. Patrick County Cougars

James River hasn't had much luck against Patrick County recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Knights will head out on the road to take on the Cougars at 5:00 p.m.

James River might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 7-1 to Glenvar, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Patrick County had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They came out on top against Alleghany by a score of 11-8.

James River's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Patrick County, their win bumped their record up to 14-3.
