Volleyball Recap: Carrizo Springs Takes a Loss

Carrizo Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rowe Warriors.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-14.

Paulina Lira paced Carrizo Springs' offense, picking up five kills. Lira were helped by Joselyn DeLuna and Giada Gonzalez, who contributed seven assists each. Finally, Kalie Sepulveda kept Carrizo Springs' defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Carrizo Springs' loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Rowe, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-5.

Carrizo Springs has already played their next matchup (against Bishop), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Rowe, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Laredo LBJ on the 29th.
