Academic Magnet kept a clean sheet against Woodland on Thursday. They blew past the Wolverines 7-0. Considering Academic Magnet have won four matches by more than three goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Woodland from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Elle Fennell led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Academic Magnet pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those four contests. As for Woodland, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Academic Magnet didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 0-0 defeat against A.C. Flora on the 22nd. As for Woodland, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Timberland at 5:30 p.m. on April 1.
