Wyatt Holmstrom Dazzles in Seminole Win

Wyatt Holmstrom was instrumental in extending Seminole's winning streak to seven on Friday. Holmstrom turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 319 yards and three touchdowns while completing 88.5% of his passes, and also rushing for 51 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. His passing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 319 passing yards dating back to last season.

Seminole's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Holmstrom and Seminole will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Snyder at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

Logan Mccormick and Co. Win Seventh in a Row

Seminole picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Logan Mccormick. Fort Stockton had no answer to Mccormick as he picked up 139 receiving yards and a touchdown. Mccormick's receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 134 receiving yards dating back to last season.

For the year, Mccormick has caught 9 touchdowns while averaging 117.3 receiving yards per game.

A Season-Best Effort from Rylan Nunez Leads Fort Stockton over Seminole

On Friday, Fort Stockton had to settle for second even though Rylan Nunez put up the best numbers he has all season. Nunez picked up 115 receiving yards and a touchdown. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 80 yards.

Fort Stockton's defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Panthers faces off against Snyder at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Brock Green Makes Top Five

Rounding off our Top Five is Brock Green of Snyder. Green forced a fumble and made ten total tackles (1.5 for loss). Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 5.1 total tackles per game.

Snyder is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Tigers faces off against Fort Stockton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
