Softball Recap: Central Victorious

Central hadn't done well against Sycamore recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Rockets walked away with a 13-8 victory over the Spartans. This was payback for the Rockets, who suffered an 11-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

Central got a massive performance out of Emmerson Falk, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, four runs, and three doubles. What's more, Falk posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Mei Shirokawa, who went 4-for-5 with three doubles, three RBI, and two runs.

Central's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Sycamore, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
