Volleyball Game Preview: Gladstone Braves vs. Marquette Sentinels

Gladstone is 0-8 against Marquette since September of 2016 but things could change on Saturday. The Braves will head out on the road to challenge the Sentinels at 8:30 p.m.

Gladstone came up short against Kingsford on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Marquette, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Escanaba 3-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Sentinels as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Gladstone's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Marquette, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 4-7.

Gladstone couldn't quite get it done against Marquette in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Braves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
