There's no place like home for Windsor, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Herculaneum Black Cats by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Owls in their matchups with the Black Cats: they've now won nine in a row.

Windsor easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-8.

Tessa Whitney paced Windsor's offense, picking up 11 kills. Whitney got some help from Lacey Myers and her 20 assists. Addison Davis controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Windsor's victory bumped their record up to 19-4-2. As for Herculaneum, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, Windsor and Herculaneum will both be playing Lift for Life Academy the next time they take the court. The Black Cats will head out to face the Hawks at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Owls will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
