Fall River won the last time they faced Weed and things went their way on Friday too. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 14-7 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Kayla Oilar made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Oilar was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, Azenet Perez was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Darcie Range, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three RBI and one run.

Fall River's victory bumped their record up to 4-15. As for Weed, they dropped their record down to 2-21-1 with the loss, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.
