Basketball Recap: Ripley Takes a Loss

Ripley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 38-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tishomingo County Braves. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Ripley's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Tishomingo County, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Ripley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-54 win against North Pontotoc on the 16th. Tishomingo County has also already played their next contest (against Shannon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
