Basketball Game Preview: Bishop Hartley Hawks vs. Hilliard Bradley Jaguars

The Bishop Hartley Hawks are taking a road trip to square off against the Hilliard Bradley Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Bishop Hartley is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They secured a 68-64 W over Olentangy Berlin on Tuesday. That's two games straight that the Hawks have won by exactly four points.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Hilliard Bradley faced off against Hilliard Davidson on Friday. Hilliard Bradley walked away with a 41-33 victory over Hilliard Davidson. Given the Jaguars' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 202nd, while the Wildcats are ranked 515th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win made it two in a row for Bishop Hartley and bumps their season record up to 13-5. As for Hilliard Bradley, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-8.

Bishop Hartley beat Hilliard Bradley 63-53 in their previous meeting back in January of 2018. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bishop Hartley since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
