Football Recap: Santa Fe Takes a Loss

Santa Fe lost against Norwalk back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Chiefs received a blow as they fell 35-20 to the Lancers. While the Chiefs had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Lancers 7-0.

Diego Cerritos was a one-man wrecking crew For Norwalk. as he rushed for 168 yards and four TDs.

Santa Fe's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Norwalk, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Santa Fe is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on South Gate at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Norwalk, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Pasadena at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
